Boer Bucks, Spanish Bucks and Commercial Boer Bucks For Sale
We strongly reccomend a 1 to 35 ratio for bucks to does and that can also vary depending upon age, flesh and time of breeding season. We only sell bucks to customers buying 50 head of females or more.
Buck selection:
We have found that certain traits have always passed better genetics along to your kid crop. For someone producing meat kids we recommend commercial boer bucks. For someone raising show weather kids we recommend a fullblood boer buck. You will have to decide the most profitable choice for your operation. One thing to also consider is that many bucks die every year due to being overweight and not in condition for large pastures. These goats are already used to very hot Texas days as well as pastures as large as 2000 acres. This means you are getting a buck that is ready for service and won't go backwards when they get to your place. I don't use bucks with split scrotums either, as they pass this trait to their daughters who will have split bags. In addition, a buck should be easy fleshing. If a breeder has a picture of a buck who is skinny, that means they have either practiced very bad management or their genetics require pampering to gain flesh. Either way that is not a good situation to bring to your farm.
Fullblood Boers
$500-$1250 each, usually include FB papers from the original breeder. We have excellent sources like Double M Boer Goats, Schafer Farms, and Powell-Holman. These are not bucks that were culled and sent through an auction ring, and most are Full South African. We will pick these guys up and we don't mark them up or charge for delivery. The best part is they are guaranteed to be unrelated to our herd. You will not see FB bucks offered at GoatDealer.com from a bunch of different farms that don't carry an excellent reputation like these breeders do. Some of these FB bucks can even prove their weight gain performance through average daily gain tests at Angelo State University.

Martin Ferris bucks
Powell-holman's fb bucks. These guys are the sires of many of the bucks that start at $500
Commercial Boer Bucks
$250-$300 each, will be exactly what I would pick for my own breeding herd. These are also brokered goats. These will usually be traditional-colored with heavy boer traits. Most of these guys would pass for full boer, but they are just meat sires.
Spanish Bucks
$250-$550 each, these guys are what you repair a herd with that is having trouble making you a profit. These bucks are often just as fast growers as boers, and we often see them weigh much more than boers at maturity. Adding hardiness and lots of hybrid vigor is what these guys specialize in. They have 0% kiko in them, which means less split scrotums and bags on their kids. They are also in huge demand from hunting ranches who value their impressive horns.

We only sell bucks to customers buying 50 head or more. Thanks.
