These dogs are offered from Connie Ditmar who has been raising sheep, goats and LGDs in West Texas for many years. These dogs will all be born on pasture with a goat herd. At weaning these pups are bonded with a few goats during their time in isolation from mother. Upon turning out they will run with other older LGDs to keep them in line and make sure they dont develop bad habits.

One mistake that people make is to buy dogs that aren't raised this way. The result is dogs that eat kids, chase goats, and don't have the proper instincts. We never sell our own dogs, as we find that some dogs do better staying here once they have adjusted to calling our place home.
